San Bernardino, Paris and a growing number of terror and violent acts prove over and over again why a new and better PREVENTION strategy is needed…and it is needed right now!
Would you rather PREVENT violence and terror acts or REACT to them??
Using lessons learned from San Bernardino, Paris and hundreds of other attacks and tragedies, the new PREVENTION strategy requires a change in focus and it requires the right tools.
Let’s start with focus – terrorism, mass shootings and others acts of evil are committed by evil people, so the new PREVENTION strategy needs to focus on identifying people who may be planning to commit an act of evil.
PREVENTING terrorism and mass shootings should not focus on gun control laws. The focus should be on evil people with guns (bombs, knives, etc.), because good people with guns are not committing acts of evil. Sadly the more time people waste arguing about “their emotional opinions” on gun control, the more time evil people will have to organize and commit more acts of evil…and evil people do not care about gun control laws and we cannot depend on gun control laws for immediate prevention. A better prevention strategy needs to focus on preventing evil people from committing acts of evil.
Facts uncovered from the most recent terrorist mass shooting in San Bernardino (and most other acts of evil involving guns) expose why a prevention strategy focused on gun control laws will not likely improve PREVENTION. In San Bernardino terrorist shooting, the guns the evil terrorists used to commit this heinous act of evil were purchased legally by someone else. A better prevention strategy needs to focus on preventing evil people from committing acts of evil.
PREVENTING terrorism and mass shootings should not focus on blaming one or more religions. Evil people are committing acts of evil. The more time wasted by people arguing about “their emotional opinions” on religion, the more time evil people will have to organize and commit acts of evil… AND the more chaos and terror religious arguing creates, the more advantages the terrorists will have. Most intelligent people realize politicians, the media and special interest groups are using religion to manipulate gullible people for votes, for readers and for their own selfish need to gain attention. Don’t be gullible to these obvious strategies of manipulation. A better prevention strategy needs to focus on preventing evil people from committing acts of evil.
Terrorism and mass shootings will not be prevented if people are gullible and manipulated by “political correctness”. Most intelligent people realize “political correctness” is nothing more than a strategic way to manipulate gullible people. “Political correctness” is used by politicians to manipulate gullible voters and “political correctness” is used by narcissistic, special interest and evil extremist people to gain attention and manipulate gullible people’s emotions and actions. “Political correctness” can also manipulate people into not taking action as we discovered in San Bernardino and numerous other incidents, attacks and tragedies. Don’t be gullible to this obvious and dangerous manipulation strategy. A better prevention strategy needs to focus on preventing evil people from committing acts of evil.
Remember… terrorism, mass shootings and numerous other acts of evil are committed by evil people.
Can terrorism and mass shootings and acts of evil be prevented? YES!!
Some violence and acts of terrorism (including mass shootings and other acts of evil) have been prevented, and typically they were prevented in one of two ways:
- Some acts of evil were prevented because the evil person lacked intelligence and lacked resources to take their act of evil from idea, to plan, to coordination, to committing the act of evil. These less intelligent evil doers were easy to identify and easy to intervene and prevent their plan to commit an act of evil.
- Some acts of evil were prevented because intelligence agencies and/or law enforcement were able to “collect enough dots so they could assess the dots and connect the dots” and take the right actions to intervene and prevent the evil doers from committing their act of evil.
But the facts from the terrorist attacks in San Bernardino and Paris and hundreds of other acts of evil that were not prevented, clearly and overwhelmingly expose how the approaches mentioned above are NOT effective, NOT dependable in our world today and are NOT keeping good people safe.
It is not a good or safe prevention strategy to depend on evil people’s lack of intelligence. And it is not a good or safe prevention strategy to depend on intelligence agencies and/or law enforcement, not because they aren’t doing the best they can, but realistically intelligence agencies are not able to “collect all the dots and see all of the pre-incident indicators” to identify evil people planning acts of evil.
Imagine how many incidents, attacks and tragedies could be prevented with the right prevention strategy?
Imagine how many lives could be saved with the right prevention tools and the right prevention focus?
Good news…you can stop imagining and start taking action… a proven, realistic and effective way to PREVENT acts of evil exists.
Evidence and proof that good people are PREVENTING evil people from committing acts of evil using a new PREVENTION strategy are occurring every day.
This new and proven way to PREVENT evil people from committing acts of evil involves a combination of the right prevention strategy, the right prevention tools and the right prevention focus.
This new and proven way to PREVENT was developed using FACTS and EVIDENCE uncovered with thousands of hours of extensive research and over a quarter century of real-world prevention experiences.
This new and proven way to PREVENT evil people from committing acts of evil also solves many of the SAME questions and shortcomings that are voiced over and over and over again after nearly every act of evil (see details below *).
This new and proven way to PREVENT can and will help communities prevent terrorism and other acts of evil IF politicians and community leaders are willing to:
- – Quit being gullible and manipulated by political correctness and emotional opinions
- – Understand and apply real and overwhelming evidence showing community members observed pre-incident indicators in person and/or on Social Media in nearly EVERY previous tragedy (including San Bernardino), but community members were not equipped with an anonymous, confidential, non-law enforcement, central and secure way to report suspicious activities and their community was not equipped to automatically and securely share the right information with the right people in the right places at the right time so they could do the right things to intervene and pro-actively PREVENT
- – Lead by taking immediate action implementing new and proven PREVENTION strategies/tools
- – Create, train and equip a Community-based Threat Assessment Team (the right people)
- – Equip all good people in their Community to share suspicious activities/concerning behaviors

US Officials Search for Missed Red Flags Ahead of San Bernardino Shootings
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/dec/11/us-officials-search-missed-red-flags-ahead-san-ber/
Multiple lawmakers raised the fact that neighbors saw suspicious activities but failed to mention them to investigators until after the attack.
(This question has been asked for years and this is exactly why good people in a community need to be equipped to anonymously and securely report suspicious activities that are then automatically and securely shared with the right people across the right levels)
“Everyone’s asking the same questions about how it is that law enforcement didn’t know, or intelligence officials didn’t know — that they could have flown under the radar and nothing gave an indication that they were a threat,” said Rep. Jim Langevin, a Rhode Island Democrat and member of the House Homeland Security Committee.
(Evidence reveals over and over again, there were suspicious activities and concerning behaviors observed by community members…the evil doers were not really flying under the radar but law enforcement and intelligence officials will never be able to see everything. Evil doers continue to get better at hiding themselves from intelligence and law enforcement, which is exactly why good people in the community are needed to help identify evil people planning evil acts.)
“There were people who were aware of things, thought they were suspicious, but did not want to be accused of being discriminatory for reporting something,” said Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. He said these people saw activity around the garage that they thought was suspicious.
(Yes, the facts are clear that good people at the community level are observing suspicious activities and concerning behaviors, but political correctness and other manipulation efforts by media, extremists and politicians have created a hostile environment for good people to report suspicious activities and concerning behaviors, which is exactly why community leaders need to equip good people in their community with the right tools – web based, anonymous, non-law enforcement and secure. Good people want to help and do their part in PREVENTING evil people from committing evil acts, but good people need the right tools.)
Asked repeatedly whether any hints could have led law enforcement to prevent the attack, Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C. replied, “Explain to me how you do that without any bread crumbs that are obvious, without somebody that’s inside a mosque, that’s inside a person’s family that tips you off. In this particular case there was nothing like that that gave them a reason to look at this couple sooner than after the attack.”
(Simply not true! There are always community members, family members, friends and other good people who want to do the right thing and they will share the “bread crumbs” if given the right tools to do so. In San Bernardino there were good people who noticed suspicious activities that could have been the “bread crumbs” the right people needed to look at this couple sooner.)
San Bernardino Terrorist Attack Shatters Southern California’s Illusion of Safety
http://www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-sb-california-terrorism-20151212-story.html
Rep. Brad Sherman, a Democrat who represents the western San Fernando Valley and sits on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, said he doesn’t think Southern Californians were oblivious to the risk of terrorism before San Bernardino. However, he said they may not always have been vigilant in reporting suspicious activity to authorities.
“People see something, they don’t say something, maybe because they don’t want to be branded a racist, or they don’t want to get involved,” Sherman said. “We have not been blind, but we may have been mute.”
(Politicians have obligations to their constituents/communities to be aware of new and proven PREVENTION tools that are working in real life AND politicians have an obligation to equip good people in their regions to say something without having to worry about retaliation or getting involved. Government funding provides billions of dollars for “reactive security products”, but clearly government funding should be focused on new and better and pro-active PREVENTION strategies and tools. The facts and mounting tragedies expose the critical need and the urgency to equip community members with the right tools so they can report suspicious activities anonymously, immediately and securely and make sure community members know their incident reports will be acted on by a Community-based Threat Assessment Team…because data also reveals most people will quit reporting if they take action and nothing happens.)
