Had enough with bad things happening? If you agree it is time to start PREVENTING tragedies and evil, please continue reading.

Immediately below is the Tale of Two Wolves followed by a blog I published on December 18, 2012

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

He continued, “The other is good– he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

The tale of two wolves is about Good versus Evil and the one that wins is the one YOU feed.  BUT what are YOU doing to identify and disrupt those at-risk people who are feeding their Evil wolf?

Warning signs and leakage are almost always observed before Evil is committed, but to disrupt the at-risk individuals (and save innocent targets), organization and community leaders need better tools to collect and share the warning signs with the right people (FirstPreventers) who can take the right proactive actions to intervene and prevent the at-risk individuals from escalating and feeding their Evil.

Unfortunately, most discussions AFTER acts of Evil like Thousand Oaks, Pittsburgh, Parkland, Las Vegas, and hundreds of others is always the same… gun control, mental health, adding more security products, and adding more security officers.

Do you really believe an at-risk individual set on doing Evil cares about laws prohibiting them from having a gun or prohibiting them from murdering innocent people?

And not all at-risk individuals are mentally ill – they are feeding their Evil and need intervention. And adding more security cameras, alarms, and guards (responsive solutions) have not stopped hundreds of other attacks at schools, universities, organizations, and even military sites like Fort Hood and the Navy Yard.

The discussion needs to be about First Preventers who are equipped to see the bigger picture and can take proactive intervention and prevention actions with at-risk individuals escalating towards Evil.

On December 18, 2012 – four days after the Sandy Hook Massacre – I wrote about this same Good versus Evil issue, yet here we are in 2018 (almost 2019) and the news coverage is still featuring “old school” security experts and politicians are still using acts of Evil to support their political agendas rather than make an actual difference.

Which do you prefer…Preventing Evil or Reacting to Evil At Your Front Door?

How many more innocent people need to die before we start taking the right PREVENTION actions??

When is it time to stop blaming and start PREVENTING?  When are YOU ready to start PREVENTING?

Awareity’s revolutionary, research-based, and proven PREVENTION solutions are working in the real world to help PREVENT acts of Evil and PREVENT numerous other incidents and tragedies too.

Awareity’s streamlined tools eliminate common silos, disconnects, and gaps and the tools allow First Preventers to collect, assess, and connect the warning signs and leakage from Evil doers so the First Preventers within the organization and community plus those on a community-wide team can disrupt, intervene and PREVENT escalations BEFORE attacks and tragedies occur.

Research proves PREVENTION is possible when a community-wide team of First Preventers have the right tools to make GOOD things happen.

There’s a lot more Good than Evil in the world, are you ready to feed your Good with us?
